There is some mistake in the question in the units. It should be 157.5 cm2. or any other data. Can you please recheck the question.
I will provide you the steps to solve this type of question.
i. find area of square (side x side)
ii. find area of grassfield that horse can graze = area of square – 157.5
iii. Now, equate
area of grassfield that horse can graze = area of quadrant
=> area of grassfield that horse can graze = 1/4 x 22/7 x r x r

It should be 0.4 m and 157.5 cm2. But still the calculation would be very difficult. I advise you to skip this question. If this type question comes in the exam, then try to do with the steps given above. You can also do NCERT Exercise – 12.2 Q.No. 8.
Sir for English do we need to complete our answers (long/short) within the given word limit ? Is it fully mandatory?
Because sir I’ve searched some topper’s answer sheet given in books and all they didn’t mind the word limit they just completed the answer up to their thoughts…..still they got the marks…in place of 100-120 words most of them wrote 260-280 words or 160-170 words…

Word limit simply means that your answer should be around those word limits. Marks won’t be deducted if you cross the word limit or if you write less than the word limit, provided your answer includes all the main points.
