1. Students Declared Compartment in One Subject

2. Students Who Appeared with Six Subjects and Got Compartment in Two Subjects

Some students appear for six subjects instead of the usual five.

If such a student has been placed in the Compartment category in two subjects, CBSE allows them to appear in only one of those two subjects in the Supplementary Examination.

3. Students Who Passed After Replacement of a Failed Subject

CBSE allows students appearing with six subjects to pass by replacing one failed subject with another passed subject under its subject replacement policy.
