Donโ€™t Just Check the City โ€“ Perform These 5 Critical Checks Now

Based on the actual fields visible in the official City Intimation Slip, candidates must verify the following details carefully:

1. Candidateโ€™s Name & Parentโ€™s Name (Spelling Match Test)

Fields on the Slip:

  • Candidateโ€™s Name
  • Fatherโ€™s Name
  • Motherโ€™s Name

What to Check:

Ensure the spellings exactly match your Government ID (Aadhaar / PAN / Voter ID).

Why It Matters:

Even a minor mismatch (extra space, missing letter, different surname format) can create issues during:

  • Identity verification
  • Entry at the examination centre

What to Do If Thereโ€™s a Mistake:

  • Keep your CTET Confirmation Page ready
  • Immediately contact CBSE through official channels
  • Do not wait for the Admit Card release

Fields on the Slip:

  • Application Number
  • Paper Applied For

What to Check:

  • Is your application number correct?

What to Check:

This City Slip:

5. Photograph & Signature Clarity (Extremely Important)

Location on the Slip:

What to Check:

  • Is the photograph clear and recognizable?
  • Is the signature visible and not distorted?

Common Problems Seen:

Action Required:

If the photo or signature is unclear or missing:

  • Email CBSE support immediately
