Why was the CUET UG 2026 Notification released 2 months early? According to NTA officials, the registration process started in January this year—two months earlier than usual—to benefit students appearing for Board Exams.
- Avoiding Conflict: In previous years (like 2025), forms were released in March, clashing directly with Class 12 Board Exams. Students reported difficulty in filling out forms while preparing for boards.
- More Time: By releasing forms in January, NTA is giving students a full month to fill the application carefully and consult experts without the pressure of board exams.
- Result Expectations: With the early schedule, NTA aims to declare results earlier than last year (July 4th 2025) to ensure university sessions can begin by July 15th.
