CBSE Class 12 Compartment Exam 2026 Syllabus – Overview

Is the Syllabus Reduced for Class 12 in 2026?
As of now, CBSE has not announced any syllabus reduction for the 2026 compartment exam. Students must follow the full syllabus prescribed for the academic year.
Important Details for Compartment Exam 2026
Exam Date: The CBSE Class 12 Supplementary Examination 2026 will be held on 28 July 2026 (Tuesday). The examination will be conducted in a single day for Class 12 students, as notified by CBSE in its official circular.
Application Process: Regular students must apply through their respective schools. Schools are required to submit the List of Candidates (LOC) online through the PARIKSHA SANGAM portal available on the CBSE website (cbse.gov.in) from 30 June 2026 to 8 July 2026 (11:59 PM).
The examination fee is:
- ₹320 per subject for schools in India
- ₹1,100 per subject for schools in Nepal
- ₹2,200 per subject for schools outside India
Students with benchmark visual impairment are exempt from paying the examination fee.
CBSE has clarified that the last date for fee payment is also 8 July 2026, and no applications will be accepted after the deadline in either online or offline mode. Additionally, only online payment is permitted, and challan payment will not be accepted.
Admit Card
CBSE will announce the schedule for downloading the Class 12 Supplementary Examination 2026 Admit Card separately. Regular students will receive their admit cards through their schools, while eligible private candidates will be able to download them from the official CBSE website.
