NMMS 2025-26 (National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme) is one of India's most important scholarships for Class 8 students. After NSP opens applications from 02 June 2025 to 31 August 2025, students wait for the state-wise NMMS exam dates.

NMMS Registration happens in two stages:
(1) State-level application for the NMMS EXAM
(2) NSP-level application for the SCHOLARSHIP disbursement (after qualifying)

👉 The NSP dates (02 June 2025 – 31 August 2025) are only for students who have already qualified to submit scholarship forms.

Since education is a state subject, each state's SCERT (State Council of Educational Research and Training) decides its own schedule based on local holidays and school calendars. However, the scholarship disbursement is centralized via NSP.

  • Admit cards are released 10–15 days before the exam.
  • They are downloaded from the SCERT portal or provided via school.
  • Without admit card, no entry in examination hall.
